1.Mother’s Day in a Jar
A great idea this Mother’s Day. A twist on a traditional hamper idea with everything you mum will need to pamper herself this Mother’s Day.
Find a nice big jar and fill it with all your mum’s favourite things to enjoy and pamper herself with. Put the lid on and finish it with some ribbon and a tag to ‘Mum’.
2. M Frame
Give your mum something this Mother’s Day that she can look at every day.
- Grab a box frame and a wooden letter M or cut out your own letter M from thick card.
- Cover it with some decorative paper.
- Create some matching bunting by cutting out small triangles in corresponding paper.
- Take a parcel tag and add a label wit “M is for Mum/Mummy’
- Finally add your message on the bottom of the picture mount and there you have it!
3. Picture Coasters
A lovely gift so that mum can surround herself with some of her favourite pictures without the need for extra wall space.
- Get some plain coloured coasters
- Print off enough of mum’s favourite picture to cover them all
- Apply PVA glue to the back of the picture to hold it in place
- Paint over PVA glue to cover and seal the image onto the coaster
- Leave to dry
- Once dry the final tip is to add some sticky back surface protector pads to prevent the coasters scratching mum’s best coffee table
- Gather the completed coasters together and tie some ribbon into a bow to hold them all together.
