Sale Now On

It’s that time of year when those three little words are music to my ears… Sale Now On! It’s a great time to stock up on gifts, treat yourself or to buy those things for the home you been looking at all year.

It has to be said I particularly look forward to the sale at The Orchard where there’s always an opportunity to get great quality accessories for the home.

This year, like any other year I couldn’t resist and bagged myself a few things for the home and a gift or two. Here are my top 5 buys for £30 or less.

Reclaimed Wood Wall Rack

I don’t know about you but in our house ‘where are my keys’ is common phrase, strewn across the floor on entering holding two children or dropped on the kitchen top before getting on with dinner that is already late. All well and good until the next day when you need to leave the house again. This reclaimed wall rack I can only hope will solve all my missing key problems while looking great in the boot room finished with a few of my favourite bits and bobs.

Caged Bulb Ceiling Light

Ok fair enough so this one just crept over the £30 mark just, but I couldn’t resist.  Lighting or different lighting can often be hard to come by and I find it is the finishing touch to any room that takes me the longest to find.  When I saw this come up I had to have it, a perfect mix of industrial and style, the perfect finishing touch to my porch.  These could also look really great hung in clusters at different lengths for a totally different display.

Belle Cake Stand in Blush

As an avid baker I love a new cake stand so this was the ultimate treat for me. Another way to display my bakes not just when we have guests but also to my family.  My other excuse was my daughter would also love to use it, she’s almost 4yrs old, loves baking and more importantly loves pink so this was perfect!

Kew Royal Botanic Gardens Low Planter

Since moving to a house with a large expanse of garden I have become obsessed with pots! They are a great way to create an ‘area’ and to show off feature plants.  I particularly love the Kew collection, stylish, traditional and very country cottage ideal for my new garden, I may well have to go back for a couple more before the sale’s over.

Ceramic Pitcher Jug

I have a friend whose has got the most stunning cottage.  Bought as just a bare shell she has completely renovated it and it is now a cosy and very classically styled home so I knew one of these pitchers would be the perfect gift. Great for storing utensils or as a vase for flowers it will be great next to the exposed stone walls.

As you can see there’s so many great buys still to be had in The Orchard sale so why not take a look for yourself and finally finish that room you’ve been on about.  Alternatively get a few bits so you’re ready for the Spring outside of the house and make your garden great in 2017.
