Spring is officially here so it’s time to throw open the windows, get the paint out and revamp your home with one of eight of this season’s top interior design styling trends awash great colour palettes for the new season.
Go Floral
Choose wallpapers and textiles delicately designed. Nothing too bold and overpowering just something to add a hint of spring. Go for a classic design that incorporates blooms and birds perfect for living rooms and bedrooms. In doing so you can then bring a little of the outside in by using garden trugs as magazine holders or wire baskets to display a select few items in order to make a small feature.
In this type of setting choose spring green colours with soft lilacs and pinks set on white backgrounds to give this classic look a modern twist.
Make a Feature of an Old Chandelier
With soft coloured walls or pastel style wallpaper in pinks, blues and greens give a feminine touch and add a wow factor with a floral chandelier. Mix materials by taking a wrought iron style arms and mix with a floral fabric shade to give a personalised, bespoke edge, perfect for an entrance hall. A stylish lampshade may also finish the look.

When thinking table linens go for leaf designs and botanical style illustrations to set the scene for a relaxed kitchen. Opt for teal tones when accessorising, a big on trend colour this season, perfect for accenting neutral schemes. Use pale woods as a fresh base to add painted cupboards and shelves adding texture and visual interest in your interior design styling.
Get Stripey
Go casual with your interior design styling with a linear look made from narrow-gauge shirt and panama style patterns. This look is perfect for sitting rooms. Layer sofas and choose curtains with cord, cotton and canvas to add texture. Go for neutral chino style tones and give country stripes a modern makeover.

Contrast with colourful collections on shelves and maximise your space.
Get a Weave
Bring the sunshine in with bright yellow woven patterns on flooring and soft furnishings. Go tonal to keep patterns from clashing and mix yellow with tones of grey and a little black or white for a stylish more contemporary country look. Combine patterns to divide larger flooring areas.
Bring Out the China
Bring elegance to your dining table with simple monochrome design china incorporating blacks, greys, white and purple for a modern country look. Choose casual linen to accompany and serve afternoon tea in style complete with a colourful bunch of spring flowers.
